The role
We are hiring a frontend engineer to build the web platform behind our SoftPOS product. This is a greenfield build and a genuine product role: you will help define how features work and look, rather than simply implementing a specification. It is the interface our customers rely on every day.
What you'll do
- Design and build the web platform for our mobile SoftPOS product: dashboards, terminal management, reporting and account settings.
- Contribute product thinking, proposing how features should behave and look rather than only executing tickets.
- Partner closely with the product and commercial teams to understand customer needs and remove friction.
- Apply AI development tools effectively, with sound engineering judgment.
- Work on a greenfield codebase, free of legacy constraints.
Must-haves
- Strong experience with modern frontend engineering: Next.js, React and TypeScript.
- A strong sense of design: attention to detail, pixel-accurate implementation and UX judgment.
- A product mindset: you ask why, and propose solutions beyond the code.
- Comfortable with Git and collaborative development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Professional Czech and English.
- An ownership mentality.
Bonus
- An interest in growing toward product management.
- Experience with design systems, or strong Figma skills.
- A background in B2B, payments or fintech products.
- Experience with AI-assisted development.
Our stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Vercel, Figma, Claude Code, Slack, Jira and GitHub.
Conditions & benefits
- CZK 70–100k per month, based on experience.
- A founding-team ESOP allocation with a meaningful stake.
- Flexible hours, measured on output rather than time at a desk.
- A full MultiSport allowance, a learning and events budget, and the equipment you need.
- A small, senior team, a fast pace, and minimal bureaucracy.
Hiring process
- A 30-minute introductory call with a co-founder to align on the role and expectations.
- A focused practical assignment to explore how you think and work.
- An on-site meeting in Prague to review the assignment and meet the team.
