The role
This is a founding-team infrastructure role, working directly with our technical leadership. You will build the foundational infrastructure that processes live payments, on a greenfield codebase with no legacy debt. The objective is clear: infrastructure that is secure, compliant and ready to scale globally, delivered quickly.
What you'll build
- Payments-grade cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, Security Hub).
- A PCI-compliant security architecture for the payments backend, built to best practice.
- Audit-ready environments, with logging, backups and endpoint protection in place.
- Reliable CI/CD pipelines for consistent, repeatable delivery.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
Must-haves
- Hands-on AWS experience building and operating production cloud environments.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform.
- Comfortable with Git and collaborative development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Professional Czech and English.
- An ownership mentality.
Bonus
- Experience using AI agents to work faster, with the judgment to validate their output.
- Familiarity with PCI-DSS or cloud security standards in financial services.
